A classic chemistry prank, spoons made of the element Gallium will melt in a warm beverage. With a melting point of only 29.76 °C or 85.58 °F, Gallium will slowly melt if placed in the palm of one’s hand, although the process is far faster in hot cup of coffee or tea. Here’s the gag in action:
